After Sao Paulo, South African Airways announces its return to Perth

South African Airways has announced the resumption of its flights to Perth, Australia from Johannesburg. This resumption comes after a prolonged suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The airline has set a date of April 28, 2024 for the official resumption of flights on this route. SAA has also opened bookings for these flights, available both on its website and in its physical branches, offering passengers the opportunity to plan their trips in advance.

In addition to relaunching its flights to Perth, SAA is expanding its international network with the introduction of a new route between Johannesburg-OR Tambo and São Paulo.

For its route to Perth, the South African carrier plans three weekly flights, operating on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Flights departing from Johannesburg are scheduled at 8:55 p.m., while return flights will depart from Perth at 2:40 p.m. the following day.

To ensure the comfort and satisfaction of its passengers on this long-haul, SAA has chosen the Airbus A340-300. This plane has 253 seats, divided into two classes: 38 in Business class for a premium experience and 215 in Economy class, offering excellent value for money.
