Mango Airlines

Mango Airlines is a low cost carrier from South Africa. Its fleet of eight Boeing 737-800s provides domestic and international flights, particularly in Tanzania. With more than two million passengers transported each year, Mango Airlines is in full expansion.

The South African low-cost airline Mango Airlines was established in 2006. It was in October of the same year that the first flight of the company was launched. When it was created, it acquired a fleet of four Boeing 737-800s, each with 186 seats. After two years of activity, in 2008, Mango Airlines obtained the title of “low cost African airline of the year”.

Today, Mango Airlines is first developing its fleet, by acquiring two new Boeing 737-800s, and modernizing its equipment by installing new, more comfortable and ergonomic seats. The company is also extending its network with two new routes, Johannesburg-Zanzibar and Johannesburg-George, which enrich its range of destinations.
