Airlink launches direct flight from Johannesburg to Malawi

From September this year, Airlink will add a new route to its flight schedule, linking Johannesburg to Lilongwe three times a week. This new route will provide greater convenience and more options for travelers to Malawi.

Airlink, an airline based in South Africa, has announced the launch of a new route to the capital of the East African country from September 23, 2023. This is great news for travelers looking for better connectivity between the two cities.

The new service will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, departing from O.R. Tambo Airport at 11:00 a.m. and arriving at Kamuzu Airport at 1:05 p.m. The return flight will depart Lilongwe at 2:15 p.m. and arrive in Johannesburg at 4:35 p.m.

This new route will provide travelers with greater convenience and flexibility when traveling in Malawi. Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi, is a popular destination for tourists and business travelers.
